Biography

Paolo FIAMINGO graduated with honours in piano and conducting, and graduated in modern literature at the Conservatory and the University of Turin . He furthered his studies in piano with Vincenzo Vitale in Naples and in conducting in Milan with Julius Kalmar.

 

He has given concerts throughout Europe, United States, China and Japan, in prestigious halls such as the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Athenaeum in Bucarest, the Tchajkovskij Conservatory in Moscow,the National Auditorium in Madrid, the Kioi Hall in Tokyo and the Shanghai Grand Theatre.

 

He has conducted the Philharmonic Orchestra of Ramnicu Valcea, Bacau and Craiova (Romania), the Republic of Moldova National Philharmonic Orchestra, the “Orchestra Filarmonica Veneta”, the ” Qingdao Symphony Orchestra”, the “Libera Chamber Orchestra” of Tokyo and the “Symphony Orchestra of Zabrze Philarmonic” (Poland) in important theatres such as “Teatro Regio” in Parma, “Valli” in Reggio Emilia, ” Ponchielli” in Cremona, “Fraschini” in Pavia and “Mitaka Arts Center” in Tokyo.

 

He has collaborated with “Teatro G.Verdi” in Trieste ,”Orchestra RAI di Torino” and ” NCPA Opera House” in Bejing.

 

Since 2011 he has been the musical director and repetiteur in “Arena di Verona”.

 

He is the music director of “Orchestra Sinfonica Amatoriale Italiana”.

 

He is also an accompanist at the Conservatory “G.Verdi” inTurin.
